The purpose of this podcast Tydbytes with Tydbyte and Richard E. Ward Podcast Channel Intro is to introduce my new Podcast Channel.
Creating this channel and doing the podcasts is an adventure in multimedia communications for me, including learning to use new technologies such as Audacity. Although, in some ways, it feels like I am going back to pick up where I left off with my studies in Communication Arts at Loyola, and Concordia University, more than 40 years ago.
The script of this podcast follows below.
Greetings and salutations.
Richard E. Ward
I’m Richard, and I am broadcasting from Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
I was born in 1948, in the Year of the Rat according to Chinese Astrology, and since it was on February 20th I am a Pisces, although on the cusp of Aquarius.
Some people tell me that because I am 70 I have wisdom. I have yet to see that, but I do have a lot of varied experience, including living in Beijing, China and travelling around China. 🙂
I am doing these podcasts with my friend Tydbyte. Tydbyte hangs around with me when she isn’t journeying in the Aether exploring here and there.
These podcasts are an adventure in multimedia communication for me and Tydbyte. They are an opportunity for us to explore our eclectic interests across different realms and dimensions, including this one.
TBI, Traumatic Brain Injury, Survivor
I am a TBI, Traumatic Brain Injury, Survivor, and have been since a car accident in 2000. My life changed.
Opportunity to Play & Experiment
An opportunity to play.
An opportunity to play with words, to play with design, to play with audio, to play with video.
I’ll be experimenting with letters, numbers, characters, words, phrases, and sentences, with poetry, and with spoken word. I am interested in seeing where this experimenting, and exploring, will take me. This is very exciting.
Taking a Looksee
I may be taking a looksee at some of my eclectic interests such as spirituality, meditation, the I Ching, divination, shamanism, Druidry, and Reiki.
This is an experiment, so time will tell.
That’s it for now.
